This des c r i p tion is also similar to the des c r i p tions in the earlier verses. In verse 13 of Surah Tur God says:
“The Day they will be pushed into the Hell-fire violently.”
In verses 14 and 15 the Book says:
“This is the fire that you disbelieved (15) is this sorcery or do you not see?”
Raghib in Mafuradat says that the word “Yadu’na” is derived from the word “Da’a” which means pushing forcefully. So we learn that the disbelievers will be taken to Hell forcibly with despair and terror. This is a des c r i p tion that sends shivers in a person, makes him think and enhances the importance of the valid responsibilities.
There is a great difference between the residents of Hell and those in heavens.
The Quran in verse 32 of Surah Nahl describes how the residents of heaven will be enjoined to it. It says:
“Peace be on you; enter the garden for what you have done.”
In verse 24 of Surah Raad the Book says:
“Peace be upon you for you persevered in patience! Excellent indeed is the final abode.”
