The material gifts of Paradise are the proof of physical resurrection.
As you see only is Sarah Rahman which is a relatively smaller chapter of the Qura’n there are at-least twelve kinds of material gifts enlisted e.g. the garden of Paradise, different kinds of creations, green trees, beautifully colored fruits of a varied kind, the way of getting the fruits and their easy availability for the people of Paradise, the carpets of Paradise, their beautiful and attractive clothes, the women of Paradise, virgin each one of them who will be like gems, the running streams, the Houris in the tents of Paradise wearing attractive clothes and the thrones on which the people of Paradise will sit.
We find such examples in other verses of the Qura’n mentioning various topics, naming the different rivers in Paradise, the divine elixir, the colorful plates on which will be food and drinks, the rest rooms of Paradise, and the people sitting on the arrayed thrones with different rankings etc.
At times these material gifts of Paradise are mentioned so systematically that there remains no scope for any kind of doubts.
Please give your attention to the small verses of Sarah Ghashiya that are so beautiful.
Surah Ghashiya
Verse 8: “Other faces that Day will be joyful”
Verse 10: “In a lofty Paradise.”
Verse 12: “There will be a running spring”
Verse 13: “In it will be raised thrones”
Verse 14: “Goblets placed (ready)”
Verse 15: “And cushions set in rows”
Verse 16: “And rich carpets spread out”
Seven verses of this Surah containing 26 are about the physical resurrection and the various material gifts of Paradise and if we list all such verses systematically then a great number of gifts will be listed.
We have to emphasize two points here:
The gifts of Paradise are not limited to material ones and there are numerous spiritual and divine gifts which will be discussed at their rightful place. How is it possible that provides all the gifts for the physical pleasure but does not provide for the soul which is full of beneficence and an important part of the body better in every way?
The spiritual gifts cannot be felt or explained until we get them and understand them. This is why they are not regularly mentioned in the verses but we do get some very defining and absorbing des c r i p tions that define their glory. This will be explained separately in details.
Some people become daring enough to give excuses for these verses and depict them contrary to the words taking them all symbolically, though the rules of the languages does not permit us to do so. If we permit ourselves to create our own meanings for the verses then the literally meanings and proofs of these verses will be rendered useless
The words will not be the instruments for transferring the meanings and they will lose their originality. This will be impertinence in front of God.
