The second verse describes the rude language that the disbelievers used in their vanity. It says: ““Those who disbelieve say, “Will we direct you to a person who will tell you that you will be recreated after you have disintegrated into dust completely? (8) Has he invented a lie against God or is there madness in him?”

The used to consider this news that the Messenger gave about the physical resurrection a result of two things: they said, “He is either intelligent or learned that he attributes such things falsely on God to gather people around him or he has no purpose and is affected (God forbid) by insanity. Can a learned and intelligent person say that the rotten bones that have turned to dust and scattered by the winds will be gathered again and will live again?

These people were so blind in their hearts that they refused to speak the name of the messenger and talked about him just as a person in disdain; they had really forgotten their origin. Ignorance and vanity had blinded them from seeing reality and they could not see the daily occurrence of resurrection in their lives. This will be explained Inshallah after the discussion of the verse.

“Muziqtum” is derived from “Tamzeeq” and means to be shredded to pieces or dust and here it is used to denote the transformation of the human body scattered into dust, pulp and wind.

The third verse gives another new des c r i p tion. It says: ““They said, “Shall we return as a new creation after we are lost in the earth?” “Lost in the earth” means the decay of human body in the graves and the scattering of the dust by the wind so that it cannot be recognized. By saying this they wanted to prove that resurrection was impossible.

This problem had come in the origination of man when the different elements scattered by nature where gathered and man came into existence (This is a great proof about the possible existence of anything)
