The first question that we can ask the materialists is if the thoughts and manifestation of the soul are the attributes of the brain then, there should be no difference is the working of the brain, the stomach, the liver, and the lungs because the work of the stomach is both physical and chemical and it discharges the acidity of the food to make it digestible and worth being absorbed by the body. The salivary glands too perform physical and chemical action but we find that the work of the soul is very different from them all.
Since the brain has an exceptional condition of working; the workings of the rest of the body are similar to each other. They are all concerned with the inner working of the body but the manifestation of the soul is external for they tell us about an outer world.
We now present some points to highlight our arguments to our readers:
The first question is that “Is there a world out side our existence or not?” Surely there is world beyond. The idealists say: “There is no world out side of us! We and our imagination are whatever there is and the outer world is just like a dream and nothing else.” These people have fallen into severe doubts and proof is that they, become realists at the time of action and they forget whatever they have read in the books and whatever they had though when they enter the practical life they take every thing to be a reality.
The second question is: “Are we aware of the out world or not?”
The answer to this a definite “Yes” because we are well aware of the outer world and they exist all around us and we have all the information about them.
Can this outer world enter our world? This cannot happen though we have a plan about it.
We study the events within us to reach out to the outer world.
These happenings cannot be termed as the special attributes of the brain. It is true that the specialties are the product of the effects of the outer world or in other words these attributes are the result of these specialties but they are absolutely similar to the effect that the food has on the stomach. Can the effect of the food on the stomach including its physical and chemical actions and reactions be the cause for the stomach acquiring knowledge about various kinds of food?
To understand the external things one must have a kind of knowledge about them and this is not the work of the neurons.
The neurons only take the effects of the outside things and this is different from the effect that is taken by other parts of the body.
If the effect of the outer things is the proof that we become aware of the outer world then it is necessary that we begin to understand through our stomach and our tongue but this is not so. In short the exclusiveness of our understanding is the proof that there is something hidden which has as a system different from the chemical and physical laws. We have to accept that there is another gem of energy within us which is called soul and it is the cause of our understanding the realities.
