Is it possible for us to be raised again from the earth?Explanation of the verses

Now we will read the verses that mention the various material gifts like fruits, rivers, throne, different elixir, attires, shadow, various kinds of trees and physical pleasures. There are many verses about them.

Indeed we cannot take all of these verses symbolically and not even literally without clear definitions that are close to the real meanings.

It is true that the fruits, drinks, attires, utensils and food of Paradise are very different from those that we have in this world. We who are caged in this worldly life cannot actually comprehend the vast horizon of the hereafter but whatever it be these are material gifts and are compatible to physical resurrection.

The gifts of Paradise are not limited to material things but also contain the spiritual benefits but they are no obstacles for the material gifts.

In other words we can say since resurrection has a physical aspect as well as a spiritual one and the gifts of Paradise are both material and spiritual so the resurrection is not limited to spiritual side and we cannot be oblivious of all these shining verses.

There may be hundreds of such verses and we now present a sample from a just Sarah Rahman. You can discern the details from this selection:

Sarah Rahman:

Verse 46: “And for him who fears the time of standing before his Lord are two gardens.”

Verse 48: “With spreading branches”

Verse 50: “In both of them are two flowing fountains.”

Verse 52: “In each of them are two kinds of every fruit”

Verse 54: “Reclining on the couches of silk brocades with the fruits of the garden very close.”

Verse 62: “And besides these two are the two gardens”

Verse 66: “In them both are two streams of water gushing forth.”

Verse 68: “In both are fruits, palms and pomegranates.”

Verse 70: “In them are virtuous women, beautiful ones.”

Verse 72: “Fair ones restrained in the pavilions.”

Verse 74: “No human being or Jinn had ever touched them before.”

Verse 76: “Reclining on green cushions and beautiful carpets”
