An intelligent person cannot say such thingsLife and Death only Once

The same thing is found in the 4th verse with some addition. It says: ““And those who disbelieve say, “Shall we be brought forth (again) when we and our forefathers have become dust? Indeed we and forefather before were promised this. Verily they are nothing but the tales of the ancient.” (1)

We learn from this des c r i p tion that the issue of resurrection and that too in the physical sense is not limited to Islam but the ancient apostles too had foretold about it but the wayward among their people due to reasons that we will discuss later Inshallah refused to believe in it and they regarded it as a story that defied all logic.

In this explanation actually they have taken the support of two things to deny resurrection. The first is that it seems improbable that dust can return to life again and the second is that since all the apostles have promised the same to their Ummah , it never turned into reality and this means that this just a tale and nothing else. (They believed that the Day of Judgment will be manifested immediately or else it will be a lie.)

In the 5th verse the same denial is mentioned with another explanation by the disbelievers. It says: “The disbelievers say this is an amazing thing (3) (shall we still return?) After we die and become dust? This return is far from truth.” (2)

They have declared it to be strange at the very beginning and in the end said that it was far from truth. Try and think about their creation and you will see that this strange and far fetched has already occurred at the beginning of their creation. As we will establish later we have always seen resurrection in this life and see how strange it is.

The 6th verse we face the same denial but in another mode. They argue with their friends and say with all audacity and finality that: “Does he promise you that when you have died and have become dust and bones, you shall come out alive? Far very far is that which you have been promised.” And they continue to argue with audacity without feeling the need of any logical argument of proof; there is nothing but our life of this world! We die and we live! And we are not going to be resurrected!”

They say, “He is only a man who has invented a lie against God but we are not going to believe in him.”

This is harshest tone of the adamant and arrogant deniers of the Day of Judgment and this they say without thinking whether this world full of hardships is the main purpose of human life?

They did not reflect on the philosophy of the commandment of God and whether God the just can treat both the righteous and the wrong doers in the same manner. They did not even think about their own origin and that they too at the beginning were only scattered dust.

In the verse the dust has been given prominence over the bones when the human body first decays to bones then to dust.

It may be that “Turab” here is flesh that first turns into dust and the word “Azzam” refers to the dead parents or it may be that since it is more difficult for the scattered dust to come back to life compared to the bones so they gave it more prominence. This argument reflects their intense opposition to resurrection.
