The Day of Resurrection (Meeting)The Approaching Day

 This name has come only once in the Qura’n in verse 27 of Surah Insaan: “Verily! They love the present life of this world and forget the Heavy Day.

The word Thakeel here is a very vast attribute. That day is heavy as far as the accounting is concerned, as far as the reward and punishment is concerned, it is heavy because of the shame, and because of the severity of the events. It is heavy because of the responsibilities and is heavy because of the heavy load of sin on the shoulders of the sinners.

The Qura’n says they “have put behind them” or forgotten while it should have normally been said that they are to face the Heavy Day. This is because the sinners have forgotten it as if they have kept it behind them.
