Undoubtedly the creation of man has a purpose contrary to the ideas of the materialists who consider this world to be purposeless. In this creation of universe the creation of mankind has a purpose which is slowly reaching out to its glory and perfection.
If everything is destroyed with death then surely this purpose remains unfulfilled or in other words the life of mankind should continue after this death to reach perfection and glory and the fruits of the seeds sown here could be reaped there.
It is impossible to believe in the creation without believing in resurrection and if the connection is severed between this world and the hereafter then everything will become a mystery.
We now pay attention to the following verse under this context.
Verse 6 of Surah Inshiqaq that says:
“O man! Verily you are returning to your Lord and will meet.”
Verse 18 of Sarah Fatir that says:
“And whoever purifies himself does so for the benefit of his own soul.”
Verse 156 of Surah Baqarah that says:
“To God we belong and to Him is our return.”
Verse 12 of Surah Qiyamah that says:
“The final place of rest will be with God.”
Verse 30 of Surah Qiyamah that says:
“The drive on that will be to your Lord!” (1)
