When will these conflicts end?Introduction

In the above five verses five different topics, Anbaa, Tibbiyiin, Hukm, Qazaa, and fasl have been mentioned to clearly state that the Day of Judgment is the end of all disputes and the manifestation of the truth. It is the Day when the truth will be separated from falsehood and the final decision will be made.

Why should it no be so for it is “Yowmul Biruz” and “Yowmuz zahoor”.

Verse 48 of Surah Ibrahim says:

“And they will appear before God, the One, and the irresistible.”

Verse 22 of Surah Qaf says:

“ We have removed the screens and sharp is your sight this day.”

Actually this world which is a dark world has the nature not to reveal the entire truth. It is like the night in which no matter how much a person tries to unravel the truth with the help of a candle something will still remain secret. The Day of Judgment is like the rising sun and in its light every thing will be evidently clear.

It is possible that some people may find the path and some may not in the night and it is also possible that every person who reaches the truth praises it and as the saying goes, “ Some people went to familiarize themselves with the elephant, every one of them felt the animal and when they returned they started praising it differently. He who touched its legs said, “ The elephant is like a pillar” the other who had felt its tusk said, “ the elephant is like a big pipe.” . The third who had felts is chest believed it to be like a roof but when the elephant was manifest in the light all these dispute were resolved and each one of them knew that their description was limited.”

As we have said earlier man has the capacity to overcome the waves of disputes and keep going on the path of certitude. God who has created him for perfection will never deprive him of it.

One of the obstructions in the path of perfection is dispute because it resists peace and unity and it is this dispute that at times poisons the roots of belief so it is necessary that we wait for that Day when all disputes will be eradicated.

The prophets of God and the saints have brought the truth into light with the help of divine books as far as situation permitted them in this world. But they too were like the lamps that a person uses in the darkness of the night and this is why disputes immediately replaced monotheism.

This is why in verse 64 of Surah Nahl the Qura'n says:

“ And We have not sent down the Book to you except that you may explain clearly to them the things in which they dispute and as guidance and mercy for one who believes.”

Verse 17 of Surah Jathiya says:

“ And they differed not until the knowledge came to them”

So we learn that despite all the efforts of the Prophets of God the disputes were not eradicated totally.

This is because greed, lust and hatred rules most of the people and until these are removed we cannot move towards monotheism.

But on the Day of Judgment all these obstacles will be burnt to ashes and the truth will be manifest.
