Among the names of God that can be taken as both the attribute of His existence and the attribute of His deeds is “Salaam”. If it means purity from all kinds of defects then it is connected to His existence and it will mean the same as “Quddoos”.

If it means that people are safe from every kind of oppression because of Him and that He stands of justice then it will become an attribute of deeds.

He represents a peace which makes every person feel safe and free from fear from every manner of oppression. He is Mumin too and He offers His safety to His friends and those who love him. This attribute has been mentioned only once in the Qura’n.

Surah Hashr Verse 23:

He is God; there is no God but He, the King, the Holy, the Peace loving and the Guardian.
