Normally the non-existence attributes of God are called the majestic attributes because God is far more illustrious to have attributes that are defective. Right opposed to them are the attributes of beauty that are called inherent attributes. These attributes reflect the glory of God.
In short we can say that His non existent attributes can be summed up as, “God is bereft of all kinds, of deficiencies, defects, dependency and contingent attributes.” But as per the norms of rhetoric one part of the attributes is under discussion and that is: he is not composed (of elements); He has no physique, He cannot be seen, he does not need a place, time and He is above all needs and His being never changes and is never subject to alterations and all His attributes are inherent and not acquired. It is necessary that on the one side we should mention His beautiful attributes and on the other we analyze all the sensitive ones.
With this brief introduction we turn towards Qura’n and sincerely ponder upon the following verses:
Surah Jumuah’ Verse 1:
Whatever is in the heavens and on earth praises the Glory of God, the sovereign, the Holy One, the mighty and the wise. Surah Hashr Verse 23:
He is God and there is no god but Him, the king and the Holy. Surah Muminun Verse 91:
Far indeed from the glory of God is what they attribute. Surah Saffat 180:
Hallowed is your Lord the Lord of majesty far above what they ascribe to Him. (1)
