The Explanation and the MessageThe Explanations and the Message

These five attributes have similar meanings and are interdependent; all these attributes speak about the solution of man’s sustenance. It is known that he who has created them has also taken the responsibility of their sustenance. His table spread is for everyone and His blessings include everyone. We will now study the verses in this connection.

Verse 58 of Surah Hajj that says:

Truly God is He who bestows the best provision.

Verse 58 of Surah Zariyat that says:

God alone is the Bestower of sustenance Lord of unchallengeable power.

Verse 6 of Surah Infitar that says:

O man! What has beguiled you from your most gracious Lord? (1)

Verse 267 of Surah Baqarah that says:

And know that God is free of all wants, and worthy of all praise. (2)

Verse 26 of Surah Saba that says:

He is God exalted in power, wise.

 


 

1. The word “Kareem” has been used 27 times in the Qura’n but rarely for God.
2. The word “Hameed” has been used 17 times in the Qura’n and often with the word “Ghani” and have both been used as the attribute of God.
