According to the scholars the Muslims were unanimous that God al-mighty is truthful.

Since the Asharis do not believe in truth and falsehood they are unable to prove this logically because logic will not help them and they cannot benefit from the acquired logic. In other words intellectual reason is nearly impossible. (Reflect)

They have no answers and they are unable to prove it logically. But the problem of truth and falsehood is one of the important ones so it can become a great proof of God’s truthfulness.

It is very wrong for a common to lie and it is considered as the fountainhead of all evils and a sign of decadence. So it will be a wrong deed (God forbid) for God to lie or that He makes false promises. If someone gives such an attribute to God it means that he is negating Islam itself because most important commandments have come through revelations but if there is a scope of falsehood in them then there will be no trust on the revelations and His promises and the foundation of belief will be shaken. This is so clear that nothing more need to be said about it. We have already said that the basis of lies is on ignorance and weaknesses and these things are not found in God therefore, truth becomes God’s second proof.
