The intellectual and logical proof are one with the verse because the possibility of being seen or the vision are not possible for God (like having a body, a station, or direction)

Because the bodies have parts and the body itself is subject to changes, and it has features like color, size and area while the necessary being has no parts, and is never subject to changes or is never subject to causes because these are all the features of the contingent beings.

Among those who believe in the beatific vision some say that there is no proof that the eyes can see only material things and what is wrong if the non-material too are seen through them especially if the eyes are upgraded in sight more than today. The error of this presumption is clearly visible because the eyes can see material things and these material things are connected to material things only. It is not imaginable that man can see non-material things through material eyes.

Allama Tabatabai says in Tafsir al Mizan, “the vision of the eyes as of today or after increase will still be for the material things. Sight is connected with colors, forms and light. All these are material things and it is impossible that they are part of God or directly connected to Him. There is no difference between this world and the hereafter in this regard. (1) The verse of the Qura’n explicitly states in verse 11 of Surah Shura, “There is nothing like Him whatsoever.”

He has no replica, no body; He is neither material nor can He be seen. There is no time, or station, no place and you cannot even sense Him.
