There is this very famous saying that this universe is the stage for the manifestation of His names and attributes. This will be understood when we consider the attributes of deeds because all the creations that we observe in this universe are the result of His creativity in both the material and spiritual sense. These are the signs of His mercy.

The arrangement that we find in this universe is the proof of His authority and Lordship and this overt and covert system of sustenance reflect His command for sustenance.

Although as we have said earlier when we observe His deeds his attributes of deeds come to the fore and the deeds are unlimited as are his attributes of deeds. These sixty attributes are the best and have been mentioned in the Qura’n. Each one of them has many classification and branches and we have seen it in the discussion in the earlier pages. Paying attention to these attributes does not teach us merely about His deeds but also educates our souls and nurtures us socially as great examples. (Reflect).

We would like to reiterate again that some of these attributes are the attributes of His being or existence like Aalim. Some are attributes of deeds distinctively like Raaziq and Khaaliq. But some attributes have two sides one that manifests His attribute of existence and the other the attributes of His deeds like Qayyum. If it is taken for the necessary being then it will be an attribute of existence and if it is taken to mean one who creates then it will be taken to be an attribute of deeds.
