In The seventh verse while separation is granted between man and wife a ray of hope has been shown in the future life so that they may not get dejected and fall prey to sinful acts. Thus is says, “But if they separate God will provide abundance for each of them from His all-reaching bounty: For God is He who cares for and is wise.”

On the one hand it gives the news about His grace and bounties and this is according to His “generous” attribute and on the other hand the laws of divorce is being defined and man and woman are allowed to separate under certain conditions. This is what is meant by Him as wise.

Had he not defined the laws of divorce (as has been done in the laws of Christianity) then there would not have been any scope of escape in case of disputes and it would have reached a dead end. They will then fall into a hell from which there is no respite. This in turn will result in all kinds of social dissidence, crime and sins and the usurping of right from either side. The rights of the children too would be unfulfilled.
