The attributes of deeds that are regularly repeated in every prayer, in the beginning of the Surahs of the Qura’n and before every deed are those that describe God’s mercy and beneficence and they in turn tell us about the bounties that God bestows because he is the best of the Judges and best of the sustainers.
It’s meaning reflect the friendship that God showers on us together with His grace and boons. This issue has been mentioned umpteen times in the Qura’n. We present a few sample verses:
Verse 110 of Surah Isra says:
“Call upon God or call upon the Beneficent; whichever you call upon, to Him belong the best of names.” (1)
Verse 29 of Surah Nisaa says:
“God is merciful to you.” (2)
Verse 151 of Surah A’raf that says:
“You are the most merciful of those who have mercy.” (3)
Verse 14 of Surah Buruj that says:
“He is the oft-forgiving the most merciful.”
Verse 143 of Surah Baqarah that says:
“Verily God is affectionate and merciful to mankind.”(4)
Verse 103 of Surah Anam that says;
“He is the subtle; the all-aware.”(5)
Verse 47 of Surah Maryam that says:
Verily He is most gracious on me.” (6)
