The Christians believe that God had entered into Jesus and some Sufis have the same belief for their superiors. Allama Hilli writes in Kashf-ol-Murad Sharhe Tajreedul Eteqa’d

“There is no doubt about this idea being wrong because the word ‘ Hulul’ means the penetration and incorporation of one thing in another e.g. the fragrance has entered the flower but such meanings are not acceptable for God because it will mean a place , and dependence when such things are impossible for the necessary Being. If some one believes in God’s entry or incarnation in any being then he believes in polytheism and has left the fold of the monotheists. (1)
