Does the eternal damnation confirm the divine justice? The Explanation of Verses

The divine punishments on the Day of Judgment do not have an avenging side whether they be temporary or everlasting, physical or spiritual and whether we consider them to the fall our of deeds or the result of decrees. All these punishments are for the treatment of mankind and are supportive of the fact that they have been made for human development.

Despite the fact that the punishments have been detailed in the Qura’n the doors to salvation have been kept ajar on all sides and the sinners have been given the reprieve to return from the paths of evil, reform themselves and find the path to God.

Intercession is one of these paths because it actually means it warns the people not to burn their boats and do not sever all connections with the chosen ones of god. If they are embellished in some sins then even they should not be despondent and choose the path of return where ever they are. They should hastily towards God’s great mercy.

This is why we have the issue of intercession with all its fine points as mentioned in the verses of the Qura’n.

We rest here return to the Qura’n to understand the meaning of intercession and the issues connected with it. We study the verses divided into groups.

Verse 48 of Surah Mudaththir:

“So the intercession of intercessors shall be of no help to them.”

Verse 48 of Surah Baqarah:

“Guard yourselves against the Day when no soul makes up for any thing another soul lacks and no intercession or ransom shall be accepted and they shall never be helped.”(1)

Verse 4 of Surah Sajdah:

There is for you no intercessor or help besides Him.”(2)

Verse 255 of Surah Baqarah:

“Who can intercede with Him without His permission?”

Verse 109 of Surah Ta-ha:

“On that Day no intercession will help anyone except that which is permitted by God and with whose words He is pleased.”(3)

Verse 3 of Surah Yunus:

“No intercessor can there by except with His leave.”

Verse 26 of Surah Najm:

“How many angels are there in the heavens whose intercessions is of no avail at all save that that God permits.”

Verse 86 of Surah Zukhruf:

“And those whom they call besides Him do not have any power or intercession but those who bear witness to the truth and they know it.”

Verse 28 of Surah Anbiya:

“They cannot intercede but for Him who He approves.”

Verse 87 of Surah Maryam:

“They shall have no intercession save that who has taken a promise from the Beneficent”

Verse 18 of Surah Mumin:

“There shall be no friends for the unjust no intercessor to prevail.”
