For us who are trapped in this world it is nearly impossible to understand the truth and details about the Day of Judgment because it is a world superior to this world. It is like a student in the primary school trying to grasp the subjects taught in a university. But despite this we can have a brief knowledge from the above quoted verses and hadiths.

It is a world where all secrets will be revealed. All the dead things will come back to life. Hands, legs, ears eyes and even the skins will speak and admit to the deeds done through them.

On the other side all the deeds will be unraveled before mankind and the books of deeds will confront them as irrefutable proofs. The angels, prophets, and saints will stand witness and above all God himself testify against His subjects.

 This will be a very terrifying scene and even a deed the size of a mustard seed will be accounted. The books will reveal the bad and good intentions behind each one.

The accounting will be over in a moment for everyone. Justice will prevail. Every one big and small even the prophets will be presented.

It will be the end of all disputes and all arguments will be over. The retribution will be given to the oppressed against the unjust. There will be other things done which mankind is unable to comprehend.

Belief in these facts will reform the human soul. Desires will be eradicated and lust will be annihilated. Fraud will be replaced by honesty. Disbelief will be replaced by piety. This earthly man can be transformed into an infallible angel. This is the purpose of Qura’n in revealing these facts.
