Another key for entering Paradise is the absolute obedience to the commands of God and His Messenger.
Verse 13 of Surah Nisaa says:
“Whoever obeys God and His Messenger will be admitted to the gardens underneath which the rivers flow, he will reside therein forever and this is a great success.” (1)
“Jannaat” are the garden of Paradise in which will reside the enlightened, the pious, and the pure people.
The explanation of “Under which the rivers flow” proves these gardens to be lush green because trees that are normally planted near the river banks are always green.
The “will reside therein forever” speaks about an ever lasting life because normally people are always troubled about the death and destruction of bounties. This des c r i p tion dispels this fear. The plural form here tell us that the dwellers of Paradise will live in harmony but the next verse speaks of the deniers and their ever lasting stay in Hell in singular form which tells us that they will suffer the punishment of isolation or each of them will be in a solitary confinement.
