We have said many times that the world that we exist in is very small compared to the world of the hereafter. Our life cannot be compared to the life in the hereafter. Our contention is confirmed by what is recorded in the hadiths about the sizes of our abodes in the hereafter. Those great bounties will surely be in a world that is very great. Now we return to the Qura’n and read what the Qura’n says about this.

Verse 21 of Surah Hadid:

“Be the first to seek the forgiveness of your Lord and a garden of bliss whose vastness is the vastness of the heavens and the earth.”

Verse 133 of Surah Al Imran:

“Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord and for a garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth prepared for the righteous.”

Verse 20 of Surah Dahr:

“And when you look (in Paradise) you will see a delight (that cannot be imagined) and a great dominion.”
