The unimaginable BountiesThe Special Respect.

Keeping in mind that resurrection has a spiritual side as well as a physical one and that the importance of the soul is far greater than the body, there is no scope of denial of the fact the bounties, spiritual and material will be far greater than those of this world.

These cannot be praised enough nor heard enough (though we can visualize them in our hearts) so the Qura’n speaks seldom about this subject and has clarified where it was necessary.

In other words, the pleasure of enlightenment about God, the yearning for His glory and beauty, the glance of His beneficence, and the cup of love from Him is such that a moment of Paradise is greater than all the comforts of this world.

Some times we observe this but in a very restrained style. When you get a chance to worship in solitude and you meet Him then you tend to forget the whole world. For a few moments you are totally lost in wondered amazement of the vision. But if this realization comes in the centers of worship like the Ka’aba, Arafaat, Masha’r etc then you derive a peace that no pen can describe.

Imagine the pleasure one will attain if this realization is stronger than ever and last for hours, nights, days, months and years.

We have to keep in mind that there will be nothing in Paradise that can distract a person from God. The screens obstructing enlightenment will be removed from the hearts. Man’s capacity will be enhanced and there will be no existence of satanic temptations which in this world is always obstructing the path of the seekers of truth.

Can we imagine what will happen there? What kind of boon of spiritual bounties will be there? What kind of strong currents or reality will engulf the soul and will pull a person towards God? Man will forget himself, and will see nothing but the beloved, he will seek nothing else and he will see what his heart desires and whatever he will see will be beloved to him.

With this brief introduction we revert to the Qura’n and hear what it says about these bounties. These bounties can be categorized under a few headings as follows:
