The Unimaginable BountiesIntroduction

The thing that makes the bounties of Paradise extra ordinary and separates them from the bounties of this world is their being eternal and ever lasting. They will never be shadowed by death or decay and there will be danger of any bounty coming to an end. This feeling of contentment enhances their pleasance.

This can be better understood by people who have some great bounty and their fear of it being wasted or coming to an end. The sweetness of the bounty then turns sour.

Many verses of the Qura’n speak about this. They tell mankind that the rivers of God’s bounties are very vast. Be happy and spend your life smiling while enjoying these bounties.

Verse 35 of Surah Raad says:

“Its provision is eternal”

Since this has close connection with eternity we will be discussing it later in a separate chapter.
