The objection of the criticsExplanation of the Verses

The main features for guidance is the education about the creation, the culture of spirit, education and nurturing, the enforcement of justice, the solving of disputes, and to keep mankind away from evil are one of the hardest tasks for the apostles. A capacity of spirit, body, knowledge and civility is required. A person cannot guide another without these features. But when he gains control over these features then he can guide people to God because these missions require the purity of the soul. This is why these features are imperative for an Apostle of God. This is the reason God has kept these conditions for the great Messengers and other apostles.

After this brief introduction we will turn to the verses of the Qura’n that deal with the issue of these features in an Apostle.

1. Verse 41 of Surah Maryam:

“(Also) mention in the Book (the story of Abraham): he was a man of truth, a prophet.”

2. Verse 54 of Surah Maryam:

“Also mention in the Book (the story of) Ismail: he was (strictly) true to what he promised and he was a messenger and a prophet.”

3. Verses 106 and 107 Surah Shuara:

“Behold, their brother Noah said, “Will you not fear God? I am to you a trust worthy Messenger.”

4. Verse 68 of Surah A’raf:

“But I convey to you the messages of my Lord: I am to you a sincere and trust worthy adviser.”

5. Verse 109 of Shuara:

“No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the worlds.”

6. Verse 84 of Al Anam:

“We gave him Isaac and Jacob: all (three) We guided and before him We guided Noah, and among his progeny, David, Solomon, Jab, Joseph, Moses and Aaron: thus do We reward those who do good.”

7. Verse 39 Ahzab

“(It is the practice of those) who preach the Messages of God and fear Him, and fear none but God. And He is enough to call (men) to account.”

8. Verses 54 to 56 of Huod:

“He said, “I call God to witness and do you bear witness that I am free from the sin, of ascribing to Him other gods as partners! So plan (your worst) against me, all of you and give me no respite. I put my trust in God, my Lord and your Lord”

9. Verse 57 of Surah Maryam:

“And We raised him to a lofty station.”

10. Verse 159 of Al Imran:

“It is part of God’s mercy that you deal gently with them; they would have broken away from you if you were severe and harsh.”

11. Verse 124 of Baqarah:
