Apostle Yunus Explanation

There are various verses in the Qura’n here also that give rise to questions about the chastity and infallibility of the Messenger the important ones among them will be dealt with.

1. Verses 1 and 2 of Surah Fath:

“Verily we have granted you a manifest victory.2. so that God may forgive m the past faults of your followers and the faults to come, and so does He perfect His bounty to you and guide you on the straight path.”

If the word “Zamb” is construed to be sin then how will be possibility for the purity, chastity and infallibility of this great prophet.

The commentator have given various interpretations and have discussed them and one of them is that it means nothing but Tarki aula an oversight and nothing else and which is never detrimental to the status of chastity. This happens when a person a person is inclined to an important thing after forgoing something better. It is then termed as Tarki aula or oversight. (Reflect deeply).

This is nothing but the negligence of the voluntary deed but the deeds that he does after forgoing the first are more relevant. This has been termed as sin and “Zamb” because it is explained as the good deeds of the righteous are the aberrations (Tarki aula) of the close and chaste ones

The other meaning of “Zamb” here is the sin of the Ummah (this is why the verse has the word “Ummah” as supposed) or “because of the sins of your Ummah”

The third view says that those “aberrations” or oversights were done by the Ummah but attributed to the prophet. (Some times the meaning of the word is “Original” which at times is attributed to the doer and sometimes for whom it is done) It is also proven that his enemies had always oppressed him before the victory of Makkah.

But we do not give these interpretations any importance because there are better meaning and explanations for them that are found in the hadith of the infallible ones.
