Some people have whims and say” we have known and accepted God through this creation and it is something established but the system can be shaken through miracles therefore Tawhid and the awareness of God is also shaken. If you want the confirmation of prophethood through miracles then your efforts destroys the vision of the oneness of God. (Tawhid)

 According to some other people: “The system of God is not a toy for people to play with so how can they do so of their own accord?”

The reality is that those who say this are western materialists who believe that such denials of miracles will attract the western thinkers and materialists towards them. This is of course is completely wrong because:

 There is no question about the law of causes and its reality so it is very wrong to describe miracles as effects without causes. The absence of causes is because of limitations and it does not jeopardize the arrangement of this universe. Whatever is manifest before us cannot be termed as an exception at certain times because this exceptional event is for a greater purpose. But if such miracles or exceptional events take place in thousands everyday then it will be a moment to be wary of for it will be disturbing the system of the universe.

It cannot be claimed that God’s system is a plaything and the prophets can use it anyway they like. We say that whatever extra-ordinary or abnormal deeds the apostles do is because of the commandment of God to manifest His link with the extraordinary event in the universe. They use miracles as less as possible and they do not create miracles of their own (as has been claimed by the ignorant and illogical people)

There are various verses in the Qura’n that speak about these things and we will discuss them in detail Inshallah when we discuss the logic of those who deny miracles.
