Criticism and AnalysisThe path of all the apostles is the same

In the discussion about the most important feature of the enjoinment by the prophets is the arrangement of their common program. This they do to form a caravan of ideas as instructed by God with mankind and Him.

In other words:

“They can be described a collection of wise laws arranged for the benefit of the students in the best possible manner. From the first to the last it has been arranged in ranks one after another.

The Qura’n has repeatedly mentioned that there is no difference between the apostles of God and no one should differentiate between them. There is no contradiction between them while some religions have been made obsolete. It is like the changing of the syllabus every year in the schools, though the first prescribed books do not correct the second and the second does not correct he first and so on because some of their tenets are created for that period only.

There is no difference in the status of the apostles though each has his own level of answerability.

This arrangement of the common programs is the basic feature of the religion of God. It also proves the truthfulness of their mission and enjoinment. According to verse the worldly politics denies these features (Khalaf o Salaf). Verse 38 of Surah A’raf says:

“Every time a new nation enters it curses its sister nations “

The third point is to fix a standard of differentiation between the apostles of God and the false prophets. It is because as criterion and age is required for them to recognize them.

We now revert to the Qura’nic verses in this regard with all due humility:

1. Verse 136 of Surah Baqarah says:

“We make no difference between them and to Him alone we have submitted ourselves.” (We cannot differentiate between because of personal preferences and bias.)

2. Verse 163 of Surah Nisaa says:

“Verily We have revealed to you as We have revealed to Noah and the messengers after him; and We have revealed to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, (The Prophets of Israel) Jesus, Job, Aaron and the tribes and Solomon, and We have We have bestowed the Psalms on David.”

3. Verse 25 of Surah Anbiya says:

“And We did not send any messenger before you but We inspired him “Verily there is no god but I ‘so worship Me alone”

4. Verse 10 of Surah Ibrahim says:

“Is there a doubt about God the maker of heavens and earth? He invites you to forgiveness of your sins and a respite till the appointed term.”

5. Verse 130 of Surah Anam says:

“O assembly of Jinn and men! Did not the prophets come to you from among you, showing My signs to you and warning you of the meeting of your day (of requital)?”

6. Verse 131 of Surah Nisaa says:

“Verily We have directed the people of the Book before you and you too that you should take refuge in God.”

7. Verse 25 of Surah Hadid says:

“Indeed We have sent our messengers with clear proofs and revealed with them the Scripture and the balance so that mankind may establish justice”

8. Verse 62 of Surah Baqarah says:

“ And those who believe and those who are Jews, Christians and Sabians , whoever believes in God and the Last Day and do righteous and good deeds shall have their reward with their Lord ; they shall have no fear and they shall not grieve.”

9. Verse 38 of Surah Ahzab says:

“That the prophet is not responsible for that which god has made legal for him. Such has been the way of God with those who have lived earlier and the Command of God is a determined decree.”

10. Verses 60 to 62 of Surah Ahzab say

“If the hypocrites and those with diseased hearts and those who spread false news among the people in Medina do not desist We shall certainly let you overpower them, and they will not be able to stay in there as your neighbors but for a little while. 61. They are accursed wherever they are found; they shall be seized and killed in a terrible slaughter.62. That was the way of God about those who lived earlier and you will not find any change in the Way of God.”

11. Verse 73 of Surah Anbiya says:

We have made them leaders guiding mankind by Our command and We inspired them to do good deeds, performing prayers and giving Zakat and they worshiped Us alone.”

12. Verse 105 of Surah Anbiya says:

“Indeed We did write in the Psalms after the reminder (Torah) that My righteous servants shall inherit the earth.”

13. Verse 213 of Surah Baqarah says:

“ Mankind was one single nation and God sent messengers with glad tidings and warning to it; with them He send the Book of truth to judge between the people in the maters which they disputed; but the people of the book after the clear sign came to them, did not differ among themselves, except through hatred for one another. God by His grace guided the believers to the truth concerning that in which they differed. God guides who He wills to a straight path.”

14. Verse 116 of Surah Huod says:

“If only there had been in the generations before you, persons with wisdom prohibiting (others) from mischief on earth, except a few of those whom we saved from among you.”

15. Verse 19 of Surah Al Imran says:

Truly the religion with God is Islam”
