SAFE KEEPING Sincerity and total sacrifice

It is necessary for the person entrusted with the duty of guidance and education to have inclination and benevolence and that he loves his people. If the parents do not have love for their children then they will face hardships in nurturing them. If the apostle has no love for the people when he is on his mission then they will not pay heed to his words. So when they preach their hearts should be full of love even though they may face hardship in doing their duty.

Qura’n has laid a great stress on this and the same meaning is conveyed in the 4th verse through the lips of Hazrat Huod. He addressed his rebellion and biased people: “But I convey to you the messages of my Lord: I am to you a sincere and trust worthy adviser.”

The same meaning is conveyed in two verses for our Messenger:

“Perhaps you would kill yourself (O Mohammad) in grief over their footsteps (for their turning away from you) because they do not believe in this narration (Qura’n)”   (6 Kahf),

“It may be that you (O Mohammad) are going to kill yourself with grief that does not become believers.” (3 of Shuara).

The word “ Naseh” has been derived from “ Nasaha” which means according to Raghib in Mafuradat “ to say or do something which can reform” Qura’n says that Noah addressed his people for a thousand years and faced various hardships No one believed him excepting a limited few ( History says that people were not more than 80) Noah on an average spent twenty years of hardships for the guidance of one person and these hardships can be borne only when the heart is full of compassion and love for the guidance of the people.
