The argument and reasoning still continues about the superstitions and ignorance of the pagan Arabs; that how far they were hindered from progress and civilization: ``Verily those who killed their children by folly and ignorance have suffered a great loss.'' Some of them offered their children as sacrifices to the blood thirsty idols, in order to please those inanimate and mindless images! Some other buried alive their innocent girls, for thinking that they would debase their family. Some had a miscarriage for fear of poverty and sustenance; and all of them suffered a great loss, because such deeds of theirs were due to either folly and weakness of mind, or due to ignorance and lack of knowledge. Another loss that they suffered due to their folly and ignorance was that: ``They forbade what Allah provided for them by forging lies against Allah.'' They declared as unlawful some food and flesh and other things which were useful in sustaining them. They failed to win gain of such material bounties of God, for being misguided, by way of forging lies against God; saying through ignorance that such and such is a taboo, and this and that is against God's will to serve or to use!
