And to prevent doing such unlawful acts secretly, it is said here: ``Eschew all sins, be it open or hidden because those who commit sin will soon have a fitting recompense for what they have earned.'' During the Pagan Era, the Arabs held hidden fornication and adultery as lawful, and avoided doing that openly. Nowadays too, there are many who have accepted this sort of notion, and they commit sins in secret, without having fear of God or expecting a due punishment from Him! Such a behaviour which arises from disbelief, has strictly been condemned and prohibited through this verse. VERSE NO. 120
