According to the Holy Quran, a man from among the Israelites, known as Samaritan (SA, M¤, RI) proceeded on making an idol in the form of a calf that was made of gold, and induced the Israelites to worship the calf, saying to people: ``This was the god who rescued us, and led us out of Egypt.'' Aaron resisted and did his best to suppress the tumult, but the majority of the people were seduced and persuaded into disobedience and disloyalty. They threatened Aaron and were about to slay him! Strange enough; in the present Bible, (EXODUS 32) Aaron has been accused of making the idol and causing the astray going of the Israelites! According to the narration in the old Testament: ``Aaron asked the Israelites to bring all their gold earrings; then he melted them and poured the melt in a mould, and made the calf idol, and encouraged the children of Israel to worship the gold bull!'' This is where the same Book in other chapter has clearly cited that, Aaron was an apostle of high rank and dignity, and that most of the miracles and signs given to Moses, were exhibited by the hands of Aaron! Then look at the force of superstitions, how does it introduce the apostle, who holds the banner of Monotheism, as a maker of idol and idolater! But the Holy Quran clearly states that, all the prophets are infalliable, and far from committing sins or worshipping idols and false gods of any kind. COMPARING THE SAME NARRATION IN THE OLD TESTAMENT WITH THAT IN QURAN
