The issue of eternal life of the soul is connected with the issue of reality and soundness because if the soul is sound then only can it survive after death but if it is contaminated with materialism then it is destroyed with the destruction of the material body.

We have to first consider the reality whether the soul is a gem or some alloyed concoction of chemical and membrane of the brain which dies immediately after the death of the brain, exactly like the soul of the plants and animals which is the mixture of development, taking food and procreation and contains sensation and movement. It is clear that with the death neither the development nor the sustenance or procreation is left and there is no sensation or movement. (Reflect)

But we have various proofs that say that the human soul has no similarity with the plant and animal souls but it is separate reality which sometimes connects with this material body and at times departs from it.

We will first present the philosophy of religion to prove the reality and soundness of religion and then narrate the arguments of the materialists and only then will we delve deep into both.

As we have hinted earlier, by just proving the eternal life of the soul our purpose is not solved (because a big portion of the Qiyamah is about physical existence) but we still cover half our way and the arguments of the disbelievers are rejected.
