Introduction Preventing people from reaching out to God

The first group to go to Hell will be the disbelievers and the hypocrites.

Verse 140 of Surah Nisaa says:

“And God will gather the hypocrites and those who deny faith in Hell.”

Verse 49 of Surah Tauba says:

“Hell surrounds the disbelievers”

Verse 145 of Surah Nisaa says:

“The hypocrites will be in the lowest abyss of Hell and you will find that they have no helpers.”

Actually the fountainhead of all sins and contaminations is disbelief and hypocrisy because until the light of faith shines in the hearts after all the doubts and misgivings are removed there will be no impetus for doing good deeds and man will remain forever trapped in material and carnal desires. The result of such evil desires is not hidden from anyone and the samples are found in abundance in the form of tyrants. Disbelief hides the truth and hypocrisy devises evil meanings and both are the biggest obstacles in the path of true belief. There are many verses about Hell and the residents of Hell in the Qura’n.
