Rejecting a Rumor
It should be noted that this is a rumor and such a question has never been sent to the office of his eminence and his eminence has never given such an answer
Recently, a question has been published in the newspapers and an answer to it has been ascribed to Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi. This question and its supposed answer which, concern the production of the covid-19 medicine in Israel and the religious ruling for buying it from Israel, have then gone viral in the cyberspace and social media.
It is hereby announced that this news is a lie and no such question has been sent to the office of his eminence and his eminence has ever given such an answer.
As it has been stated several times before, such false news are made by the enemies in order to tarnish the image of the Shi’a religious authorities. We reiterate that the fatwas, stances, views, and statements of Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi are exclusively published on the website of his office at www.makarem.ir .
