Quran,Translation and Commentary in Brief (Vol. 04)
Verses 105-112Verses 113-114

In the last verse the end of this world and the relativity of time was dealt with.

The various verses of Qurän imply that, at first the mountains begin to shake and vibrate (S 73:14).

Then they will move on and change their place and position
(S 52:10), and finally they will be smashed, and their particles scattered. After that the earth becomes plain, with no low or high points or any crookedness. Then people will have to follow a caller who deviates not from rectitude, and his way is as plain and as straight as the earth in its new condition. In that critical state, all voices are lowered in humility of the Grandeur of the Merciful Lord; and nothing is heard but murmuring. There prevails a serious quietness and hush of awe and reverence. Here is where people will only think of finding some one to intercede on their behalf with the Omnipotent Lord, but alas! Intercession will profit no one, except those for whom God has granted permission, and those whose word of intercession is acceptable to Him.

The oppressors who carry the burden of sins on their backs will be in despair:ِ

``And faces shall be humbled before the Living, Self-existent God, and indeed has despaired he who carried an oppression.''

But unlike the sinners, the righteous believers, will be free of any fear or harm, and will get more than their due rewards.

HAJIB, the famous Persian poet of SHIRÄZ, who had a deep and sincere faith in Hazrat Imam Ali (AS), and in his authority for intercession in the Final Judgement, had composed the following verse:ِ

``HAJIB! If in Resurrection Day, the dealing is with Ali, I am your guarantor; commit whatever of sins you like!

When HAJIB slept in the night, he saw in a vision that Hazrat Ali (AS) was cross with him for the poem!

``HAJIB!'' said Hazrat Ali to him; ``This was not a good poem that you have composed.''

HAJIB, with sorrow and anxiety asked him:ِ

``My Lord! What should I have said instead of that?''

      ``You better had said:ِ

``If dealing is with Ali in the Resurrection Day, you would better be ashamed of Ali, and cease committing sins.''
