The birth of Jesus in the Book of Matthew, and Luke, has been cited with not much difference from Qurän:ِ
``In the sixth month of Elizabeth's pregnancy, God sent His archangel GABRIEL to a town in Galilee, named Nazareth. He had a Message for Mary the virgin. So Gabriel went to her and said:ِ
Peace be with you. God has greatly blessed you. Mary wondered and trembled with fear! Gabriel said to her:ِ Don't be afraid. God has been gracious to you. Soon you will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus.
Mary said to the angel:ِ But I am a virgin, how then this can happen? Gabriel answered:ِ God's powerِthe holy spirit will do that.''
As how did Mary introduced her baby to her people the New Testament is silent, and Qurän's report about that is as mentioned above in the commentary.
