Quran,Translation and Commentary in Brief (Vol. 03)
Verse 35Verse 36

The things as well as the natural laws and regulations in the eternal life differ with those of the earth. There in the life to come, are things that ears have not heard, eyes have not seen, and even imaginations have not imagined. This can be compared with the mother's womb. Even if the foetus had wisdom and understanding, he could not know what was going on outside the womb.

So the likeness of the Paradise which is promised the pious, may be some how similar to the beautiful gardens with all kinds of fruits; that streams of waters flow beneath their tree. There the fruits differ in that they are perpetual and easily in access. So is the case with the shades in the Paradise, which may also taken to mean; shelter, protection, comfort and security, or in general, as the joys of Paradise, be they physical or spiritual. Those are not like the joys of this earth which fades away very soon. There is no autumn of decline and fall in the gardens of bliss, and therein all the bounties and products are permanent.

The verse also implies that there in the Paradise does exist sunshine but in a moderate degree of temperature and radiation which do not go to extremes.

Any how the end of the believers who do good deeds is an everlasting abode in the Paradise, the comfort and beauty of which will never fade away.
