The jurisprudential rulings issued by the Supreme Leader apply to the entire world and no country is an exception in this regard.

Indeed holding such workshops, with such supreme goals, in the present time and in the place where it is to be held, is considered an invaluable cultural undertaking. Certainly, such undertakings can have a substantial role in the promotion of the School of the Ahl-al-Bayt (ʿa).

The website of the office of Grand Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi, in collaboration with the Iranian Blood Transfusion Organization, has organized a campaign called #altruism_still_lives to invite all the people, who are mourning Imam Hussein’s ('a) martyrdom, to donate blood.

The encounter of Islam with other religions was with great respect and friendship. The Quran, which is the holy book of the Muslim faith, has instructed the believers as follows: ‘Do not argue with the People of the Book except in a manner which is best.’[1]

Is it not the duty of Muslim countries to voice their outrage at these crimes? Is it not time for the so-called Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which consists of nearly 60 Muslim countries, to hold an emergency special session in order to help these innocent people?  

The issue of Wilāyah is one of the most important of precepts. The reason behind its importance can be found in a statement made by Imam Ali (ʿa) where he said that Wilāyah guarantees the implementation of other Islamic precepts.

The lecturers and students of the religious seminary can utilize the teachings of Imam al-Hadi (ʿa) in helping the people resolve their various ideological questions and doubts. Unfortunately, Imam al-Hadi (ʿa) has not been remembered like the other Imams (ʿa), nor have his teachings been given the attention that they truly deserve. We must do our best to remedy this shortcoming in ourselves and our institutions.

The supplication of ʿArafah must be recited with a full heartfelt presence and with complete understanding of its content. One must reflect on the deeper meaning of its various teachings and benefit from the blessings of this great day.

When we examine any book of jurisprudence, beliefs (ʿAqāʾid), the principles of jurisprudence, and ethics, we find that they are full of traditions narrated from Imam al-Baqir (ʿa) and Imam al-Sadiq (ʿa). These two Imams (ʿa) have left behind a massive intellectual and spiritual legacy and the implications of their teachings for the Islamic sciences are enormous.

The prevalence of various social problems has placed the ideal which we strive towards in our social lives at great risk. There are many problems which we are faced with in this regard. Through studying the various aspects of the life of Imam al-Jawad (ʿa) in regards to this field, we can create better policies which will help resolve these issues, particularly those related to marriage.

The lofty rank of the Lady Maʿṣūmah in the world of the Unseen is not only because of her being the child of Imam Musa ibn Jafar ('a) and the sister of Imam al-Rida ('a); it is also related to her own characteristics and spiritual greatness.

Those who have not been able to subjugate the Muslims through war and sanctions have now proceeded to create doubts in order to influence the masses (and particularly the youth).

The ignominious defeat and downfall of the self-proclaimed Daesh state was an edifying lesson to those who are busy conspiring against the Muslim world and who recruit and send mercenaries from all around the world to destabilize and break up various Muslim countries.
We extend our congratulations to the entire world for the downfall of the rootless Daesh state.

These rallies will bring about unity and solidarity of people on the national scale, and the liberation of Palestine and the overthrow of the Zionist regime on the international scale.

Indeed, our people will be even more determined in the fight against the Takfīrī terrorists, and they will not rest until all of these atrocious Takfīrī groups are obliterated from the face of the earth

The rulers of Bahrain have caused a new tragedy, out of their blind allegiance to Saudi Arabia and the United States, by their cowardly raid on the house of the great cleric and scholar, Ayatollah Shaykh Isa Ghāsim. In this raid, they have kidnapped the great Shia cleric, and killed, wounded, and arrested a large number of innocent people. By so doing, the rulers of Bahrain have indeed added another dark page to their dark history, and planted the seeds of hatred and animosity all throughout that country.

It is quite pleasing to know that such a center is active in Germany, that is to say at the heart of Europe, and a number of our brothers and sisters are busy there studying Islamic sciences. We hope that such centers are also established in other areas and they expand their activities in scope.

I condole with the great Egyptian Nation and I pray to Allah the Almighty to grant the bereaved patience and fortitude, and the wounded the restoration of their health.

‘I remember two of his remarks from last year’s meeting; the first sentence was that terrorism has turned in to an unsolvable problem for Europe’; however, we believe that there are no problems which cannot be solved. In order to eliminate this problem, the following three steps must be taken: first, the ideological roots of terrorism must be destroyed, second, political negotiations must be conducted, and third, those who are guilty of committing acts of terrorism must be brought to justice. Only by following these three guidelines will the problem of terrorism be definitely eliminated.

Due to the repeated requests sent by the followers of Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi to his eminence’s office, the necessary measures have been taken for those of his eminence’s followers who live in other countries to be able to pay their religious taxes with ease.

Two factors caused the revolution of the Messenger of Allah (ṣ) and his newly-established government to fall in the hands of those who were not worthy of it and who sought to undermine it.

The US has planned to play the Muslim countries off against each other and make them destroy each other, just as it previously enticed some Muslim countries to ravage Syria and Yemen. In so doing, it pursues two goals at the same time: it seeks to make the Muslim countries destroy each other with their own hands and, at the same time, it will be selling off its junk arms.

The Āl-Khalifa must learn a lesson from the fate of the Shah of Iran and that of Gadhafi. The day will come that you will be held accountable for the innocent bloods that you have spilled

You should pay extra attention to the youth in your region; today, the enemies are working at their full capacity to lead the youth astray and lead them towards indecencies and corrupt beliefs. However, we can protect the youth by means of the Islamic culture and teachings.

They are trying to somehow make up for their failure and defeat in Aleppo. Fortunately, the world has become cognizant of their deception and hypocrisy and no one will fall for their crocodile tears. The truth of the westerners’ hypocritical and largely contradictory policies has now been exposed and the world knows what is actually behind their words and deeds.

Two teams of researchers in the Islamic Seminary School in Qum began investigating the roots of the evil and wicked phenomena of terrorism and Takfīrīsm. After much research it was proven through conclusive evidence that Takfīrīsm and other similar extremist ideologies have been born out of the Wahhabi ideology which has been developed and promoted by Saudi Arabia. The book in question has been published in the Farsi language and is currently being translated in to Arabic, English, and Urdu in order to be made available to all the people of the world.

There are elements in play who desire to further the fire of conflict, war, and bloodshed among the various Islamic schools. The Muslims must not allow the enemies to be successful towards this end.
